We turned down Nascar 400 races Sunday. BIL really wanted us to come but no way, not with Mr. BP’s heart attack Christmas eve - he’s not ready for large crowds on any day. I am, tho, beginning to feel like a parrot, “your heart is still healing”. Hard-headed men are way more difficult to deal with than hard-headed teens. Threatening to send them to their room, take away the family car keys, or cut off funds doesn’t work when Nascar is in the same sentence as ‘no’.
Yes, sanity....very smart, imo.
