not many people care. My company hasn't said a thing and is still strongly encouraging travel...even with customers like Amazon.

Trump is dismissing this at every occasion while China, South Korea and Italy all have overwhelmed healthcare networks.

And those who might have been in contact carry on without any care because of over-confidence.

No one is watching Washington State and it seems like the major media is outright ignoring it.

IIRC you live in AZ. IF you are south of about 32N lat, you can make your own D3 around noon for 30m or so now. It’s free.

‘Solar Elevation’ number needs to be above 50 to generate D3 via the sun.

Don’t burn. 15m each side, flip like bacon.

Check any meds you might be taking in case recommend not getting sun exposure.

D3 supplements in a bottle, like all our other vitamins and meds probably comes from China. So, won’t get more of those for a while once our domestic supply runs out.

Disclosure: I do this regularly and I ALSO visit my dermatologist once a year for a once over. I have never had skin cancer or been told to stay out of the sun. YMMV based on what underlying conditions you may have.

If you take D3, have you looked into (and asked your doc) about taking K2. (this isn’t the one found in green veg, it’s the one found in (some) cheeses, dark meat chicken and natto (gag))

K2 helps your body use D3 to keep calcium in your bones and not in your blood vessels and other places it doesn’t need to be.

Cruise Ship Issues Health Advisory to Passengers

DONALD WOOD MARCH 05, 2020Princess Cruises issued a “Health Advisory Letter” to passengers currently sailing or who recently sailed on the Grand Princess ship as health officials are investigating coronavirus cases from a previous voyage.

According to the cruise line’s official website, Princess’ chief medical officer Dr. Grant Tarling said the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) was investigating a cluster of coronavirus cases in Northern California connected to a previous Grand Princess sailing from San Francisco between February 11-21.

Passengers currently sailing on the Grand Princess are being asked to remain in their staterooms and anyone who believes they may be experiencing symptoms of the coronavirus should contact health officials onboard.

Travelers who sailed on the previous voyage should also stay in their homes until they’re contacted by medical staff from the CDC...

A cruise ship that was expected to dock in San Francisco on Thursday will be kept offshore until its thousands of passengers can be tested for the coronavirus, after a previous passenger died from the illness.

Several passengers aboard the Grand Princess had symptoms that could be coronavirus, flu or the common cold, health officials said.

Israel to quarantine tens of thousands over coronavirus

Israel imposes ban on entry of tourists from European coronavirus-hit countries

News Service16:30 March 05, 2020AAIn a bid to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, Israel has placed more than 60,000 people in self-quarantine for a period of two weeks, according to Israeli media on Thursday.

It added that Israel has begun to ban the entry of tourists coming from various European countries including Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany.

For Israeli citizens returning from these countries, the Israeli Health Ministry is requiring a 14-day medical quarantine period.

So far, the Israeli Health Ministry confirmed that 15 Israelis contracted the virus, according to the daily Haaretz

March 5, 2020 7:14 am Mar 5 UPDATE: According to Greek officials and Health authorities, news published by British tabloids are not confirmed and at the very least, can be considered as exaggerated. The ship left Piraeus with clean Health Certificate, there are no cases of any infection on board, and all people on board will undergo health screening on arrival to Corfu.
As of 0700 UTC Mar 5, the ship was in Ionian sea steaming towards Corfu, ETA 0900 UTC Mar 5
