True, but there is the other 30% of “API’s” (not sure where those came from...”domestic”/India probably but maybe the U.S.?)...the important part is that that supply chain for 26 generics to the U.S. is now restricted...in addition to China supply.
There’s a huge, long list of restricted Rx drugs, that has been posted, here.
No cans, no trucks or trains.
No walmart, target, dollar general, hobby lobby, michaels, autozone, etc...
Now, this really scares me. I don’t work in King County, but I DO work in Pierce County, just to the south of King. In my job, I go into people’s homes. I have NO idea where they’ve been, and NO idea who they’ve come into contact with.
I CAN’T ‘commute from work’, since I install things.
If stuff gets real down in Pierce, I have no idea what I’m going to do.

They have a public story and the real story.
That is exactly what is happening here and everywhere else imho.
Remember that Congressional briefing—some version of the Netherlands memo is probably what Congress was told.
Bottom line: If the resources are available then no triage necessary. If the resources are not available then triage is done with cover story to keep the masses confused as to what is happening. (Part of the cover story is “incompetence”—so, for example, I think the CDC is not really dumb, they are just “playing dumb” so when they have to triage, the public will just think they messed up again.)

I think all western governments have the same cookie cutter talking points and the same insider plan.
They are planning for large scale “centers” for coronavirus victims.
They are planning for local quarantines. That includes using the military to enforce the quarantine.
They are planning for coordinated messaging.
All the same—every country.
Bottom line—they are not stupid.
They _know_ what they are dealing with...
That is a good thing.
The bad thing is that the plan is to lie about lots of stuff...and pretend they are incompetent since they believe that will keep people calmer than if they hear bad news in real time.
