Men is not a gender. Masculine, Feminine, and Neutral are genders which are a grammatical category. Male and female are sexes which are a physiological category. In French the noun Feminin is masculine gender.

I guess we could call them the “objects” at Wellesley, the “things” at Wellesley, the “creatures” at Wellesley, or the “worms” at Wellesley, but I think I prefer the “whackjobs” at Wellesley.
But I won’t call them women, at least those who insist they shouldn’t be.
