That one works.
I submit that the danger with self-diagnosis of that kind of reaction is the ease with which it can be confused with a genuine, life threatening allergic reaction, as the symptoms are very similar.
I’ve been told that I should try certain supplements and that I may experience that Herxheimer reaction for up to three weeks before I start to feel better and be able to eat again. But IMO that is dangerous advice from a natural health practitioner who is not really a medical professional.
And I can’t make it for three weeks of putting up with those kinds of reactions. For one thing, we live too far from a hospital, and another is that nobody has offered to come and monitor me to make sure I’m not going to go into anaphylaxis and die from it. Nor have they offered to pay for my ER visits during said alleged detox.
Then they leave you with the *Well, if you want to continue being sick* nonsense, not realizing that they could be WRONG. They have no business telling me what my reaction is when they have not observed it and know nothing about me besides my name.
Thanks PA Engineer.
