From your Sharon Sanders link...

So far 60 cases in US including presumptive and/or CDC confirmed cases (not including evacuees).

22 of 60 are travel related, 27 under investigation

Many states testing and reporting own results and are taking action on presumptive positives.

CDC is not reporting PUI and negatives anymore because states are doing their own reporting with different timing daily (and nightly).

State case counts should be considered more up to date.

Concerned about nursing home situation - i.e. 6 deaths in Washington.

Expect to find more cases including community transmission.

So far in 12 states, most within last 14 days. Will find in more states

Most cases are close contacts i.e. family and health care workers.

anyone with contact to Covid-19 positive person needs to reach out to health provider

Risk for serious outcome....report from China...16% of cases are serious and they are mostly older + with co-mobidities - twice as likely to develop serious outcomes.

Might see some local community actions to further contain spread.

If asked to stay at home for 14 days. please do that. You might need to take a break from regular activities.

Stay home when you are sick. minimize risk to those in your household. Info on this on CDC site. Reduce face to face contact. Different communities might take different actions.

Personal action...recommend people wash hands, cover sneezes, and stay away from sick people.

For seniors have medications on hand...if 65+ reduce exposure (to other people, crowds etc.)

See emergency at cdc.gov

Narrow criteria for testing? Any regrets? My interpretation of answer: Not focusing on past. Focusing on now and future actions.

California test kits? Refer to California state.

Is White House muzzling you? CDC has been giving media teleconferences since beginning of outbreak.

Testing? FDA commercially available kits might be as many as million by end of week? CDC kits to public health departments will be cover 75,000 people.

Stockpile? CDC partners with state and other gov agencies i.e. niosh etc. See ASTHO - has stockpile responsibility.

What was contaminate in original CDC test kits? That is one possible explanation...ongoing investigation...focus on moving forward.

What about national PUI and testing count? Clarifying above remark...CDC will be aggregating data. Only update once a day. Will be providing state and national data as reported. Not real time updates nationally.

Question on test kits....(technical problem in transmission)....moving forward...confident about new test kits...

How long have Seattle strains have been circulating?...need more data...interesting study...
