It depends on the environment.
In a closed one the virus would be transmitted, sure.
In an environment with air circulation, not so sure. But near objects would be infected on their surface nonetheless.
Makes sense. Every serious cluster we’ve seen have been in these confined areas - cruise ship, hospitals, nursing homes, jails. Probably schools, but the kids seem to carry it with zero symptoms.
