The healthcare workers in China, and now other countries are armed with just short of the highest level PPE and hundreds of them got sick.

Even if we assume that - and that's still an unverified assumption - people will still ave to cough or sneeze, correct?
But if you are correct - then it's a compelling reason or companies to encourage as many people as possible to work from home. I was in a Walmart this evening and the cashier coughed and wiped her mouth with her hand. Classy. I took my items to the self-checkout which had just been wiped down with some ammonia smelling concoction.
I agree, but without coughing and sneezing aerosol spread is much less effective.
Does account for a lot of things that hand-washing is meant to prevent though...
