The news is so confusing.
I see people crying that they need alcoholic hand sanitizers...
Thinking I might make a little extra cash, I looked in the Want Ads but there wasn't a single ad for an alcoholic hand sanitizer!

My wife just came home from working at CVS (northern CT).
Today was the first day they ran out of hand sanitizer.
So far no cases reported in CT (though presumably there are many unreported cases).

I can’t tell if you’re trying to make a joke or not, but the term is alcohol-based or isopropyl-based or ethyl-based hand sanitizer.
