welding doors? that’s nowhere near as much fun and entertainment as tying spitters to a post and wrapping their heads in a bra. Or pulling a girl driver out of her car for not wearing a mask and breaking her neck in the process - oh wait, that was just a Red Guard sleeper-hold.
But all that is just for the little people. In the meantime, those with wealth still go to their hairdressers, private appointment only of course. And Chinese tourists are still flying to Kenya and Bali and all sorts of places. It pays to be a party member in China.
