I missed TCM during Christmas.
I can’t see the original *The Bishop’s Wife* too many times. Cary Grant, Loretta Young, and David Niven. Amazing.
They did a remake with Denzel, who is a really fine actor, but, I won’t watch it. I can’t imagine that they could capture the magic of the original.
Like the remake of *Miracle on 34th Street*. I couldn’t get through 10 minutes.
Those are great movies. I had no idea that they did remakes of them and I wouldn’t ever even want to watch them, either.
I haven’t been to a movie theater since “Saving Private Ryan” came out.
