The injuns were never party to the US constitution. If we had a memorial or named military equipment after an Indian chief that started a war with the US than I would support getting rid of that also.
If not for the civil war Robert E Lee would be a nobody. As would most generals who fought in the war. The only thing that makes him famous is he took up arms against America. In direct violation of his oath. As his cousin, Rear Admiral Samuel Philips Lee said when asked why he stayed loyal to America; “When I find the word Virginia in my commission, I will join the Confederacy”
