You forgot South Korea.
I think South Korea is the best indicator how the virus will act in the US big cities, they have a very health system. South Korea is also very good at documenting numbers.
When I visited Italy and Spain I was not impress at all.
I know little about Korea...but do they smoke a lot there?
I thought the same. I don’t know much about S Korea. But, being from Spain and having visited Italy, I’m thinking SK May be more efficient and aggressive.

BUT...
Korea doesn’t have our heating systems that raise air temps to 100+ F. They use mostly floor system of heat.
That may be our ‘saving grace’ ins this.
China, of course, doesn’t heat at all. Except in tourist hotels.
Covid no like heat.
Conversely, warm external temps won’t inhibit the virus if countered by air conditioning.
