Don't let the blue people scare you. The guy with the mustache and beard that was making the rounds on daytime television shows a few years back discussed how he had bought a "make-your-own" kit and was hanging out with his buddies and drinking multiple tumbler glasses a day instead of using a few drops diluted in water.

As if drinking multiple glasses a day wasn't bad enough, there was no quality control as to how much silver was in each glass. I believe it was Dr. Oz who told him that he had in effect tattooed his organs and skin from the inside.

That guy also put it on his skin and then went inside a tanning bed! He was making silver chloride, which is well known for turning skin blue.

It doesn't sound like his transformation into a smurf did any permanent damage other than coloration.

But there are articles claiming it can block absorption of some medicines. Not sure if science or speculation.

I bought a bottle just as a last resort last week. Just as a last resort. But I wish I could find good science one way or another.
