Never thought about that....can you imagine the lawsuits about to clog the courts?
Companies tend to be risk averse when it comes to employee health, etc. Years ago, we would have employees on disability or serious illness come back to work with weight restrictions (how much they could lift), other task restrictions, etc. Those sorts of things are very rare now. If you're not 100% - it's very unusual to be allowed back to work. I've seen it one time in 4-5 years. What happens if you get COVID-19 and they trace it back to work? Would that be subject to workman's comp? Don't know. Maybe?
