You may have missed a few threads on FR.
In my house the non-panic buying started three or four weeks ago.
I’ve augmented what I already had by a few hundred pounds of rice in, some dried beans, lots of extra TP, and most importantly a Berkey. Also some bleach.
I don’t expect that food will become a problem anytime soon, but if you start bulking up by the time that panic sets in, you’ve got a problem.
I aim to get next season’s firewood in as soon as the snow melts.
I also stocked up on Black Elderberry, which is supposed to have great anti-viral properties, though I am not as confident in it as my mother.
This may be a blip, or it may be a gentle collapse.
Thank God it isn’t an EMP.
