Actually no I don’t remember. Doesn’t surprise me though. Why would you not try anything and everything to save your child? Darwin needs to get busier with some of these people and quit letting them breed.

Youngest child is a nurse and he (and my PA brother-in-law)claim that most meds are good for a while after the expiration date. Told me that my EpiPens were good as long as they weren’t cloudy. Guess we will find out.

My sis carries liquid Benadryl when she doesn’t have an epipen. Not the same...but, in pinch, helpful.

As an example, the U.S. Miltary has cleared doxycycline for emergency use ten years after the expiration date, if stored properly the entire time since manufacture.

However, I have found that hydrocodone is pretty much worthless after five years. Other drugs vary. Best to look up shelf stability information.
