I think the President was listening to Kudlow. We cannot disrupt the markets. Well, that horse is gone.
Now is the time to act like FDR at the start of WWII. Time to get rid of the dead wood and start putting action oriented people in charge.
It is time to pull in the owners of the major media into a Scif and show them the satellite footage of China’s bonfires and big ditches. Tell them to go back and stop the crap.

Pence in charge does not encourage me. He is a decent, good man. But he is a political leader that we do not need. This is the President’s job. Period.
Last week he lost control. This week it was worse. Stop worrying about the twitter-verse. Time to take charge.
What he is doing is reacting. He needs to act. Making committees is not acting in any meaningful way.

I think they have fixed some things and I’m encouraged by that... the testing protocol was fixed (now it’s travel or severe pneumonia), local healthcare is testing now, better contact tracing is happening, drug shortages are being addressed, and Pence is just the administration point man, Debbie Birx is the one running the show from a medical/logistics side.
The communications stink. He is trying to sound upbeat, but his tweets appear flippant, while I know he is not. That is his Achilles’ heel.
PS, I agree 100% with everything he needs to do from here on out.
A worry I have is will he institute quarantines, because they will be needed.
The urban areas are not going to just be dangerous from a viral standpoint, there is going to have to be martial law, riots, looting, etc...
I’m a good distance away from the city abut my entire neighborhood is armed to the gills. Boy I sure hope it doesn’t come to that.
