Seven juvenile female students from Wheaton North High School are facing mob action charges following a premeditated brawl that erupted at the high school the morning of Feb. 25.
One of the girls had allegedly armed herself with a pocketknife while two of the girls had armed themselves with items that could be used as a weapon including a sock filled with batteries and a sock containing a can of green beans, according to the release.
Authorities at the school attempted to break up the fight and were joined by police officers from the Wheaton, Glen Ellyn and Carol Stream police departments as well as DuPage County Sheriff’s deputies, the release stated.

Thanks for letting us guess which Wheaton it is. My first thought was the one in Kansas. Could also been the one in Minnesota. Had to search to find it was the one in Illinois.

Far west suburbs of Chicago. Twenty years ago, it was corn and soybean fields. Now, it's subdivisions, apartment complexes and industrial parks, with strip malls every mile or so.

It’s been forty years since I lived in the Chicago suburbs. Sounds like it has really changed. DuPage County was considered a good area back then.
