Deed Covenants were thrown out in 1948 with Shelley v. Kraemer.
There’s no doubt that prior to then that Asians were cooped up in “Chinatowns” by the restrictions, but there weren’t that many in any event. And that WAS due to the Exclusion Act, along with the 1924 Act.
But once again...that’s nothing compared to the tidal wave after 1965.
Now you're exhibiting racist thinking. Supposedly, the Civil War's end stopped slavery and racism. Blacks knew better. Deed covenants were still being observed into the 1960s. If you are white you wouldn't notice. I know people who were discriminated against when it came to housing in the 1960s, even some in the 1980s (hint: they weren't white).
