In regards to your statement on the VA hospitals handling something like the Corona Virus, please find some one to post some Baghdad Bob meme that says something like “Everything is Ok here” or “Nothing to see here, Please move on”

Emergency Prep in most hospitals is a low level expense.
In the BIG hospitals (the big Boston hospitals for example) are good at it. But the other50 hospitals in MA? Not so much.
And The CDC can have all the plans they want. There is no one at most hospitals reading them. And they don’t have the necessary materials to treat anything modestly above the projected work loads.
I am not suggesting it’s the apocalypse. But if this happens in a contained area, you will see the woeful unpreparedness of out hospital systems.
