How is this a CRIMINAL matter?

The school took the money... Why aren’t they being charged with a crime?

After affirmative action college admissions are a joke. Why not just allow them to buy it?

One of our DIL’s after getting her two 4.0+ kids into good colleges the old fashioned way just came out with a great comment tying this into the DNC selecting a candidate.

The colleges should have like 10% of their student enrollment vacancies offered on an EBay starting bid of $300,000 per student per year. The only qualification is matching or beating the EBay starting bid of $300,000 per student per year.

I’m surprised any of the sports teams at USC are as good as they are with all the fake athletes they recruit.

Because it's a secret sauce with ZERO transparency.

If I was a juror in one of these trials I would laugh in the prosecutor's face and ask him why the hell he has the time to deal with such trivial matters in a Federal court.

And I would be asking the prosecutors why they are not charging the administrators that ACCEPTED the bribes.

NO. I’m saying just advertise it and make it open.

You want in, pay $100,000 and we’ll move you into one of the rich kid spots.

The irony is, if the heiress had just offered the school $300,000 for its “building” program, the college would have found a way to admit her daughters. But it’s still a bribe.

They’re all dough (cheap ingredients) and about an ounce of nasty filling.
What a ripoff.

Southern Cal is a private school. I don’t see how any laws were broken here. They can accept whatever bribes they want.

I bet that was in the original script but Standards and Practices said no.
