I installed Linux (Mint XX) on a laptop I wasn’t using. It wasn’t bad, but I’m pretty content using Windows 10 with a local account:

Linux was....underwhelming.

According to this article on Slashdot, it would appear that Microsoft is wanting to get rid of local accounts altogether.
