Yesterday, 58 labs in Korea completed 9424 COVID-19 real time PCR for 6432 patients.

(Cumulative: almost 40000)

Hospital labs and commercial lab centers only. The tests performed by 18 public health lab are not included.

Seems to me Japan isn’t testing that much out of fears of the impact on the Tokyo Olympic Games.
