That is so sweet. We have a feral we tamed, but it took years. We set up an insulated dog house on a table in the carport. Filled it w/ quilts & blankets for cold/rainy days & nights. Set up a high cocktail table next to it(my husband found it on the side of the road) with water & food. She knew when I got home from work she was getting wet food too. Several years ago when it was a brutal winter my husband caught her w/ work gloves on. She was furious, but after about 15 times of doing that she realized a warm, safe house was great! Haven’t looked back since. She LOVES the bed. And loves to sleep under my arm like a teddy bear.
I’m in the process of socializing a feral tomcat. I bring out food every morning, and he now comes over to get pats and brush against my leg. We’re moving in the next few months, and I want to take this cat along. I know there’s only going to be one chance to catch him.
