Waitstaff and delivery drivers will soon be as replaceable as the order-takers at McDonald's.
I can also see this becoming more popular if there's an epidemic in the US. Robots are already available that can do most or all of the cooking, or can pick orders at a warehouse. If robots can do the delivering as well, then that cuts down on the number of hands that touch your order.

Waitstaff and delivery drivers will soon be as replaceable as the order-takers at McDonald's.I love the McDonald's kiosks: they understand English and they take card payment. After I pay, I help myself to a drink cup, get it filled, and, normally, my order is ready by then.
If I'm in need of some entertainment, I'll pay cash at the register. It's always fun watching adults try to count a handful of change.
