It's just every advice column I read assumes this business as usual atmosphere is going to be the norm and we are all going to calmly co-exist with a virus that's dropping everyone around us like flies.

Every person I have casually asked about "what they think about this" tells me--almost word for word--they don't watch the news and last they heard it was improving.

Americans are 100% not prepared for anything like what is happening in Korea, Italy or China.
