Americans who have tested positive for coronavirus and evacuated from the Diamond Princess cruise ship will be quarantined at a facility in Anniston, federal health officials announced today.
The passengers will be quarantined at the FEMA Center for Domestic Preparedness beginning next week, said Elleen Kane, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, in a phone interview with AL.com
Thats where everyone goes for their high level FEMA training.
They can practice on these people.
Yikes.
Well thanks for putting them in Anniston, Al, about 40 miles from me.
Does it really make sense to put people in Alabama when they are most likely primarily from the the west coast of the US?
