Ouch. Did not know that about the water plant treatment chemicals. Would natural lakes and ponds or even rainwater for that matter be infected ? Am assuming loose viri can travel by winds.
Not as worried about this virus as other stuff that will make your water not potable.
All water that isn’t treated should be boiled unless you KNOW for a fact that your well water isn’t contaminated somehow. Our state tests well water on the request of the owner.
