I disagree. From what I have seen I think that both Prince William and Kate will save the monarchy despite Charles being a total moron.

I’m sure that the Kansas City Royals would be more than willing to add Harry and Meghan to their team mascots. There is a lot of work to be done and Slugger needs some help during the season.
Yes, I agree Charles is going to be under a lot of pressure to pass it up. Unfortunately, Charles does not come across as a very bright individual, just a very selfish one. The powers that be will probably make him an offer he can’t refuse.
Unless he dies, Charles WILL BE King. It is the way of the succession. No one will change it.
Is anyone else watching the CNN production ‘The Windsors’? They seem pretty sympathetic to Edward the VIII. I’m wondering if they are setting up the premise that David Windsor tried to bring the monarchy into the 20th Century and Harry and Me-again Markle are trying to bring the monarchy into the 21st Century. Still, I’m enjoying the Newsreel footage from long ago. I had no idea that George V was first cousin to Kaiser Wilhelm AND the Russian Romanov Tsar, Nicholas.
The Kaiser was Queen Victoria’s favorite grandchild!
