Legendary comedian and actor Dick Van Dyke on Friday endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders for president and urged older voters to back the Vermont lawmaker. "Why wouldn't an older citizen vote for somebody with that kind of record and with that kind of experience and honesty and trust?" Van Dyke, 94, said in a video circulated by the Sanders campaign. "It just doesn't make sense that he's not getting my generation! And I want to urge my generation to get out and vote for him please."

Hey Dick! Think of all the middle class people who will be funding Sanders plans. YOU can afford it! You won’t feel it! But maybe you will feel it when we have Universal payer and the doctors aren’t allowed to treat you because YOU’RE TOO OLD TO BOTHER WITH.

Van Dyke wasn’t as smart as Carl Reiner made him look.
I, too, was upset when I heard about his liberalness.

News Update: The actor, Dick van Dyke appears to continue to suffer from post-concussion symptoms years after he took a serious fall during the taping of his show’s opening...As you recall, the actor failed to notice that his screen-wife (the late Mary Tyler Moore) had re-positioned the set’s ottoman prior to filming. The actor, having not taken notice of the change in set decor, came ambling onto the set and immediately took a spill leading to the actor’s concussion. It is believed that fall, coupled with inhaling extremely unhealthy amounts of creosote during the filming of “Step in Time” (from the film, Mary Poppins) has led to his continuing mental health decline in recent years.

Poor Dick is a dick and it’s too bad, as a kid I grew up watching him, but no more.
