Conservatives figured out a couple of years ago that Kickstarter is politically compromised and they all went over to alternative platform, Indiegogo. But, there’s a stupid civil war among conservative comics creators, and it leads some of them to go back to Kickstarter out of spite. It never works out for them. I thank the civil war, though, because it drove me out of the hobby completely.
that’s why no one actually buys comics. I know the fat clerks at most Hollywood comic stores and they flat out, in general told me, only libs buy them.
They are 95% available for download on torrent. I’m sure conservative comic readers try to grab the old PRE-2000 series which is the time the biz went solidly left.
Big Tech collusion also killed some of the alternatives. For example, Patreon alternative Freestarter was killed when Paypal, Stripe and Chase Bank got together to cut off its payment processing ... because it wouldn’t ban people liberals have deemed unpersons.
