Sure, people say that, but does anybody seriously believe it? If you had a girl child who suddenly became a boy child, your family wouldn’t be able to hide that - certainly not in a Black neighborhood fifty years ago. You’d have to move away, and the Robinsons didn’t do that. Plus we have Michelle’s grade school pictures. So I think it’s just something people say, not anything anybody seriously believes.
