One of the drivers testified at deposition that she got out of her car to look at the damage after an initial minor collision, while leaving her two children in the back seat of her small sedan. While she was talking to the other drivers, a second more violent collision occurred trapping her children in their car and setting it ablaze. Her last memory of her children was of them calling out to her as they were dying. “Mommy, it’s so hot!”
““Mommy, it’s so hot!””
Betcha the seat belts killed them.
