Same thing in WA state. I've spoken to the state department of health to ask "which counties in the state have people who are asymptomatic and under home quarantine?" All they would tell me was "just about every county".

I called my county dept of health to ask how many in this county under home quarantine and they wouldn't tell me anything.

It’s really outrageous, isn’t it? It’s not as if we’re asking for names and addresses- simply what are the numbers of quarantined and/or hospitalized, what counties, what preparations are in place...simple stuff. Not violating any HIPPA protections.
