On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
Do the Boy Scouts still take that oath, or has it been changed to suit the Decadent Period of Western Civilization?
Is a Scout still expected to have these virtues, or have the Scout Laws been revised to suit the Decadent Period of Western Civilization:
A Scout is:
Trustworthy,
Loyal,
Helpful,
Friendly,
Courteous,
Kind,
Obedient,
Cheerful,
Thrifty,
Brave,
Clean,
and Reverent.
My daughter is in a small Cub Scout troop that recites both of these every meeting.
