They actually think? I thought they were simple programmed to 'feel' these things and ignore the fact that the sun is so large it could contain 1.3 million earths (so a quick Google pointed out) and the sun is the number one influence on our weather and climate.
I always say (to myself most of the time), the weather is like a woman. Unpredictable.
I’m tired of winter. Definitely ready for spring.
It seems the arctic cold has decided to spend more time up north this season. Normal weather fluctuations, nothing more. It’s certainly expanding the arctic sea ice extent.

Where is this “extreme blast”? Winter hasn’t really hit here in North Idaho even though we’ve had 55 inches of snow. Only a couple nights around 10 - 15. Last three weeks daytime highs have been 38 - 45 - real balmy!

There are 2 problems when it comes to “Global Warming” or “Climate Change.”
#1) WEATHER IS NOT CLIMATE!!!!!!!!
#2) Over time, it has been shown that the models being used to predict “climate change” have not been accurate. Normally, that would mean that scientists discard their hypotheses, The problem here is that governments, which on the whole WANT to increase their power and control over the people they govern, are the ones paying for the research, and the “scientists,” who want to keep their jobs, are going to continue to try to make their employers happy.
What I find very funny, in a tragic way, is that there are so many people who demonize the research put forward by “Big Oil,” because “they’re only in it for profit” will claim that government only wants to “protect them from ‘Big Oil,” and don’t realize that there will be a huge government windfall in taxes, but far worse, is increased control over EVERY aspect of life. If the government has control over energy (more than it already has,) there simply isn’t any aspect of life that they won’t be able to control.
They don’t understand the mindset of too many government workers, where power IS their goal, because they believe themselves to be “the anointed.” A perfect example of this is Bloomberg’s statement that taxing the poor is a good thing, because the poor aren’t living their lives they way HE knows they should. By increasing the taxes on the poor, he’s giving them the incentive to live according to his decrees. To quote CS Lewis:
