Anyway, as far as legitimate humor goes, that GIF itself is a joke because the humor (whatever humor there is) is extremely weak.

Watching a sissy boy pretending to lift weights to prove his alpha male bona fides is hilarious to me.

I think they’re just venting their bitterness and frustration, but trying to package it as humor so that it’s not perceived as ‘hate’, which is really is.

Yeah, but I’m not into “powerlifting”. I have more all-around athletic ability than to have to rely on lifting weights.
