Annie Glenn, the wife of the late astronaut and U.S. Sen. John Glenn, is turning 100 Monday and is doing fine, a spokesman said.
But she is eschewing the media spotlight that shone on her and her husband for nearly six decades.
The Glenn family is appreciative of the continued affection and interest toward Annie. She is well but is no longer doing interviews, Hank Wilson, a spokesman for the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at Ohio State University, said in an email.

“Can we admire and honor achievements of people, even if they arent conservative?”
I think we can. Doing otherwise puts us on the same level as they are with their cancel culture. But acknowledging their achievements does not mean we should defer to them.
Fred Thompson knew what Glenn did. When the networks came to him for a feel-good soundbyte for his departing colleague after his deliberate and treasonous work in sabotaging the ChinaGate investigation, Thompson said that what he had to say about Glenn could not be repeated on television.
ChinaGate was the one thing the Clintoons could not afford to have investigated. Bubba could survive a sex scandal, but selling nuclear secrets to the Red Chinese military for campaign contributions and all the rest ? Nope. Glenn played his part in the obstruction, got his ride into space again, and is burning in a very hot place. I hope it was worth it for him.
