I was subjected to torture on one of those flights a while back - last row like the gentleman mentioned but on the other side of the plane with the rest room behind us. Every time someone closed the rest room door we felt a large jolt in those seats.
On the return flight, front row (no first class - remember little plane) and after a four hour delay (mechanical problem with plane and had to get a replacement from Lord knows where) the flight itself was uneventful but I will never fly AA again.
Worst flight I had was when there was such a back log moving people and delays we ended up in a cargo plane! You couldn’t hear yourself think it was soooo loud! then a two hour taxi ride thereafter!
