When I was kid in those Reagan years the dire alarm-ism was that we are all going to freeze and oil will run out. These alarmists who were not even born in the 80’s now say we are all going to burn in a very short amount of time.
More catastrophizing:
"...The Limits to Growth (LTG) is a 1972 report[1] on the computer simulation of exponential economic and population growth with a finite supply of resources......"
None of this has come to pass, but the authors remain adamant the end is near, or will come soon. The get money and prestige from this dreck. Gloom and Doom is a big industry.
