Man, do not let them ruin another sport.
Oh boy! I’ll program my remote now!!
Has there been an announcement of the name of the legal firm who’ll be bringing the sex discrimination suit yet? You know, like the lawsuit they’d be facing if they announced no women would be permitted on their production team?
If they are capable, ok. If they are hot, better still. If they are there to accomplish some stupid, woke, virtue signalling..., count me out.
I think I’ll watch the movie “Slap Shot” instead.
WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG???
The NHL is so clumsy in trying to be “woke” and “inclusive”. Just freaking play hockey. Absolutely no need to signal anything trying to attract very little.
“... International Womens Day ...”
Is there an “International Men’s Day”???
I think not...
This should make a woman feel like a “token”...
In my opinion, when a “Day” is proclaimed, like this, for anything, it’s like the government saying “We care about you today...The rest of the time, we don’t give a crap...”
Why would this be a big deal unless on some level a person thought of women as less capable?
All female, meh.
All female topless would break the ratings machine
Whomever thought of this idea better get re-married soon or her son is going to wind up with a ............. faster than you can say 'Jack Robinson'.
One of my favorites...:)
Sigh. I played hockey for many years, and stopped watching it when it became unwatchable in the mid-late nineties.
I just never went back. How I loved the game both as a player and spectator.
"I'm gonna flash 'em, Joe!"
Yup. It is bad enough to see rainbow tape on hockey sticks and jerseys and have to hear and read about homosexuals in the guise of “Hockey is for Everyone” but at least that is pregame and/or on websites. This is just another step at “inclusion”and we all know that any criticism will be called sexist so it is either accept and be quiet or protest and be called named. I wouldn’t be surprised if the NHL eventually outlaws complete hitting in the name of safety and then adds women to each playing roster.
I don’t find women’s voices easy to listen to for high speed sports play-by-play.
Well, isn’t that stylish.
I dont find womens voices easy to listen to for high speed sports play-by-play.
Agree. It’s finger nails on chalk board for me to hear women doing pbp.
Sick of this sh*t. And I’m female.
