I agree, and we need to do the same to all platforms of public speech that censor public speech.

There are quite a few people who take the position that since these companies are "private", it's okay for them to censor speech. I keep telling people that if "private" owned companies that control huge amounts of public communications are allowed to censor speech, then governments will exert back door pressure to force them to censor speech which these governments don't approve.

China already does this with google. Google does whatever the Chinese government tells it to do. We also know that if someone like Obama was in power here, they would use the power of the Federal government to force large carriers of mass communications to censor speech they didn't like.

We need to put a stop to allowing anyone who carries large quantities of public speech to engage in censorship. They need to be given the choice, "Either carry it all, or you will not be allowed to operate in this nation."

If "private" owned companies that control huge amounts of public communications are forced to allow uncensored speech. Then you would have to accept Democrat Underground disruptors swamping FreeRepublic with their filth. All things are relative and you're damned by degrees.
