The San Diego Seals professional lacrosse team was scheduled to take on the Vancouver Warriors on the air base’s runway on Feb. 22, an event dubbed the “Rumble on the Runway”. But the event has been relocated to Pechanga Arena....The Seals will take on the Warriors at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 22, allowing the San Diego Gulls hockey team to play in the same arena at 7 p.m.way.”

China Evacuees at San Diego Base Petitioned to Be Tested for Coronavirus But CDC Declined, Fearing False Negative
Ordered into quarantine, a group evacuated to California from Wuhan, China, is at odds with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and has petitioned for five “critical” changes in their conditions.
The CDC has already said no to the first request — the evacuees wanted to be tested for the novel coronavirus....The CDC says Braden has explained the issue of false negatives to the evacuees....
The evacuees then listed their requests. They started with the request to be tested and then added four more: Prevention of gatherings of large numbers of people in small, enclosed environments; delivery of personal protective gear to evacuees, including masks and sanitizing alcohol for room disinfection; provision of hand sanitizer at the front desk and playground; and disinfection two to three times a day of public areas, “including playground, laundry room, door knobs, etc.”
Nothing like an enclosed area with a lot of people to spread this thing.
At least Austin’s marathon will be outside tomorrow though still a lot of people huddled together on the sidelines.
