Brian Tyree Henry is such a tremendous actor and brought so much beauty into this part, and at one point I saw a child in his eyes
WTF? Whatever. The Eternals is scraping the bottom of the barrel as it is, but Im not as big a Jack Kirby fan as most. The New Gods are pretty lame, too.

I’ll stick with the Eternals of vintage Dr. Who.
Maybe one serial they showed in.

I agree with your first three statements, not so much the fourth. Still, considering that woman they have working on the New Gods movie, I hope it never makes it to film. (I have all 3 times 11 issues of T.N.G., M.M., and T.F.P.). I doubt that I'll go see The Eternals, although I'm sure I'll end up buying the disk when it comes out. Sadly, part of being a collector is buying stuff you really don't want (you buy Daredevil; you buy Electra, you buy Conan; you buy Red Sonja).

Agree. Outside of Darkseid the rest of the New gods are lame. The X Men are lame too. Kirby came up with the ultimate black box. No need for a back story or origin. Just make somebody born with a bunch of powers.
The height of laziness. Wolverine is the only interesting character because he has a back story and artificial enhancements.
