Microsoft has U-turned on plans to automatically switch browser search defaults to Bing when users install Office 365 Pro Plus.

I can't believe anyone at Microsoft ever thought this was a good idea - if there's one thing guaranteed to infuriate enterprise IT departments, it's the promise of thousands of their corporate users filing support tickets over jack-assery like this.

Sometimes I wonder if Microsoft employees actually work for a company that uses Microsoft products. I often have my doubts.
