Some evidence #COVID19 causes aberrant host immune responses that are associated with severe lung pathology and ARDS type outcome that’s also correlated with a cytokine release. It could be younger patients are more likely to mount vigorous immune response
also people who have not seen similar illnesses before. One of the reasons H1N1 hit young people harder is because us older folks had seen hong kong flu which was similar in the early 80s
