My state, Texas shows nothing as to numbers that I could find...only the criteria to be tested.
Patients in the United States who meet the following criteria should be evaluated as a PUI (person under investigation) in
association with the outbreak of 2019-nCoV in Wuhan City, China.
Clinical Features & Epidemiologic Risk
Fever and/ or signs/symptoms of lower
respiratory illness (e.g., cough or
shortness of breath), to include hospitalization for above.
And one of the following:
a. Travel to Hubei Province within 14 days of symptom onset
Or
b.Travel to Mainland China within 14 days of symptom onset
Or
c. Contact with someone laboratory confirmed to have Corona virus
So, if you have contact with someone unknown to you, and that person is a carrier, and you get sick, you will not meet the testing criteria.
