Watch live @ 10:30 pm ET: Atlas V rocket launching Europe's Solar Orbiter

A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket will launch the Solar Orbiter spacecraft for NASA and the European Space Agency tonight. It will lift off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida during a 2-hour launch window that opens at 11:03 p.m. EST (0403 GMT on Feb. 10).

Should be a great show on the eastern seaboard. Atlas V makes noise and is a huge rocket. Should light up Florida.

Cloud covered and windy as heck. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s postponed

I see night launches from East Pasco. Its 100 miles due east of me.

The YouTube vid was a live feed, I got there about four minutes early. Oh, and there was no countdown in any corner of the screen.

Watched it from the street corner near my house on the west coast of FL. Even saw stage separation just before it disappeared behind trees.
