According to a podcast I listened to today, the numbers for 2019nCoV are :
80% of fatalities are over the age of 60; 2/3 are male; 75 % have other pre-existing conditions (diabetes ,cardiovascular ds, malignancies, etc)
Fear is instructive and keeps one on their toes or rather washing hands frequently after being out in public.
Well you see, posting info everyone is aware of, wr can only assume as to why it is you do so?
It appears to me that you are inclined to show that we are simply over-valuing this threat. Which leads me to question what is motivation that would cause an invidual to continuously repeat what is already known?

Think I heard that also. Otherwise, I had a friend who was a hospital pulmonologist (deceased), and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once, but that’s about all the erudition I can shed on it (no virus shedding here at the moment either).
What is going on there?

Ok. Fine. Now put a million sick people on top of that.
Go into any hospital. Take a walk around. Go to the ICU. Find a free bed.
This disease puts 20% of its patients into ICU.
My area has about 400,000 people. There are about 50 ICU beds in the near 3 hospitals. As of last Friday there was not an open bed to be found within 50 miles. Not kidding.
This is not about dying. Most people won’t die.
This is about overwhelming the system. This is about destroying the economy. This is about political instability in the largest country in the world.
People have to stop thinking about getting sick from this shit. You have to think about what it does to people, places, and systems.
Stop comparing to a flu that we prepare for every year. Start thinking about what this could do to society, economy, and country.
Trudeau is getting hammered pretty hard on Twitter. Maybe they will think twice before voting for another socialist.

As of Friday they did not have approval to return. I don't directly communicate with the office manager that much, I just hear from the folks that do. I won't be in my office here in the US tomorrow as I have Jury Duty, so I won't have any idea what happened until Wednesday. I may get copied on an email chain but I just checked and didn't see anything one way or another about the Shenzhen office.
She(the office manager) was mostly texting with my boss, the VP of supply chain. She was trying to remote into her email, but as of last week, the Great Firewall of China was making comm miserable. They are probably censoring EVERYTHING.
